We’ll be honest here, Magic Kingdom doesn’t have the best food and is often considered sub par when it comes to dining options. From the over priced table service options, to the heat lamp quick service, we get really picky when it comes to choosing food at Magic Kingdom. Thankfully, we’ve found a few Magic Kingdom Quick Service Restaurants that are worth trying. Thank Goodness. We asked our followers on Instagram to weigh in on this one and have come up with 5 of the best quick-service restaurants at Magic Kingdom.

We love Magic Kingdom, but rarely go there for food. There are only a few Magic Kingdom Restaurants worth booking for a sit down meal, and even fewer quick service options. That said, sometimes you really are just better off heading to a nearby resort for a good meal instead. But if you’re dining at the Magic Kingdom Park never fear. You’ve got some options. Luckily Snacks at Magic Kingdom are excellent. But if you’re looking for a meal here are the best Magic Kingdom Quick Service Restaurants to try on your next trip.

What is a Quick Service Restaurant at Walt Disney World?
Quick Service restaurants at Walt Disney World are counter-service restaurants that get you food quickly. No need to fuss with dining reservations. And a great option for those on a budget. Or those who don’t want to spend the time at a sit-down meal. Food tends to be lower quality than table service meals, and they often don’t have a ton of seating. But they are a great alternative to the more expensive options. And perfect for a busier day. We love using mobile order for quick service locations at Magic Kingdom when possible, to add even more convenience. Read on for the best quick-service restaurants at Magic Kingdom, as voted on by our friends on Instagram.

Friar’s Nook | Fantasyland
This unassuming counter service restaurant at Magic Kingdom doesn’t include any seating, but can be found right near the Carousel, and offers some of the better street food at Magic Kingdom. Home to the most amazing Caramel Apple Hand Pie dessert, you can also grab breakfast sandwiches, tot bowls for breakfast and lunch, little doughnuts and loaded mac and cheese. While very much theme park food, Friar’s Nook kicks it up a notch with great portion sizes, and unique menu items you can’t get anywhere else.
With a varied menu, and easy access counter service, Friar’s Nook offers an alternative to Starbucks for breakfast, with a eggs and tots bowl, as well as a pretzel bun sandwich. And for lunch and dinner, you can grab a hearty meal here that costs less than $13 without waiting too long in a line. If you’re feeding a family, or enamored with cheese, Friar’s Nook offers some great choices at a budget-friendly Disney restaurant price. Friar’s Nook Menu

Gaston’s Tavern | Fantasyland
Home to LeFou’s Brew, Gaston’s Tavern has only a few items on menu, but still makes it worth the trip if you’re looking for higher quality food than you will find elsewhere in the park. With minimal seating inside, you’ll want to claim a table, or a spot outside to sit before the crowds arrive. This restaurant offers a delicious Ham, Provolone and Swiss Sandwich, served with chips, fit for Gaston, of course, and makes a great hearty meal at less than $12. Plus, you can also get the giant Warm Cinnamon Roll, which lets face it, is always a reason to stop here.
The menu items at Gaston’s Tavern are ONLY available at Gaston’s. Meaning if you want any of this deliciousness, you have to come here to get it. So whether you’re looking for a great sandwich meal, or a cinnamon roll and LeFou’s Brew, you can only grab them here. Plus, you can also get The Grey Stuff Cupcake here! A HUGE deal, for Disney Snacks fans. As one of the restaurants that we often overlook in Magic Kingdom, it’s been nice to see the consistency in quality and the return of the Grey Stuff… because it’s delicious. Gaston’s Tavern Menu.

Casey’s Corner | Main Street USA
Located on Main Street, USA, Casey’s Corner is a fan favorite. We only really go here for the Frozen Mint Julep Lemonade, and it’s the only place you can get it in the park. They serve a variety of over-the-top hot dogs, and many people love their corn dog nuggets. They also have plant-based hotdogs for those looking for vegetarian options at Walt Disney World. If you don’t like hotdogs, you can skip this one. But due to the fact that the place is pretty much always packed, we had to include it. The lines can get pretty long here, especially right before the fireworks. So be sure to plan ahead and mobile order if you want to grab a bite here. Take a look at Casey’s Corner Menu. Casey’s Corner also has fun live music on occasion at their piano outside. You can check the My Disney experience app for showtimes.

Pinocchio Village Haus | Fantasyland
If you’re looking for pizza, Pinocchios is the only place in Magic Kingdom where you can get it… or flatbread, rather. Is it the most amazing flatbread? No, but it’s not bad. And prices are reasonable. But the real reason this makes our list is that they have a plant-based flatbread for our non-dairy and vegan friends, and it’s actually pretty good! Plus seasonal options that change out throughout the year, so sometimes you can get bbq chicken flatbread, or margherita, or just cheese. And if you’re dining with a dairy allergy, this is a good place to check. Check out the Pinocchio Village Haus Menu.
Pinocchio Village Haus actually also has a fun viewing area for It’s a Small World. Located on the first floor, you can find cute little signs at the tables positioned along the windows. This is always a lot of fun for little ones too!

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe | Main Street USA
Have a picky eater at Walt Disney World? Cosmic Ray’s may be the place for you then! Hamburgers, Chicken Strips, Chicken sandwiches, and macaroni and cheese are what you’ll find here. Simple food, and lots of inside seating, perfect for a hot day in Magic Kingdom. While their food isn’t anything to write home about, and really tends to veer toward standard theme park food, they do have one thing that helps them stand out. And that is their toppings bar. So if you find yourself wanting something a little more exciting than what’s on the menu, you can easily add toppings to create that. Located in Tomorrowland you can check out Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe Menu
