What are the Garden Grill Breakfast Hours?

Do you need Reservations for Garden Grill EPCOT?

Yes, Disney Dining Reservations for Garden Grill Breakfast are highly recommended. While reservations at Garden Grill EPCOT are not hard to get, families often book this last minute, so if you find an open reservation grab it.

Should You Choose Garden Grill for Breakfast or Lunch?

If you’re choosing between breakfast or lunch at Garden Grill Epcot, we’d recommend breakfast, simply because it’s cheaper! And because the foods on the menu at breakfast are fantastic! Lunch and Dinner at Garden Grill are the same, including meats, vegetables, potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The menu is similar to that you would find at Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom. At Garden Grill, however, the  lunch and dinner is about $15 more per person.

Is Disney Garden Grill All You Can Eat?

Yes, the EPCOT Garden Grill Restaurant is all you care to enjoy. This means, that the main foods are piled together in a large pan, family style, and you can simply request more of any of the menu items if you like as you work through them. Don’t be shy about this. The initial offering sometimes isn’t enough, and everyone has favorite foods that you will always need more of. At breakfast we almost always need more eggs, just like at lunch and dinner, when we almost always get more mac and cheese.

Pluto at Garden Grill

Garden Grill Disney Character Breakfast

Sometimes known as the Chip and Dale Restaurant, because this is the only place you meet this dynamic duo, the Garden Grill Disney Restaurant is located on the second floor of EPCOT’s The Land building. In typical character dining fashion, you can expect Disney characters to visit you at your table as you eat. So get ready with your camera, phone, and autograph book.

What Disney Characters are at Garden Grill?

The Garden Grill Disney characters are Mickey in his farmer outfit, Chip and Dale, and Pluto too. Truthfully, this is the most fun we’ve had with characters at a restaurant. They give you plenty of time for chatting, and visits here. These are the same characters at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Garden Grill Disney Atmosphere

The Garden Grill Disney Restaurant is situated on a slow moving two tiered base, that allows you a variety of views as you eat. Booth seating on both tiers make this a good restaurant for families. Like any in-park restaurant, the atmosphere is a bit rushed, and bustling, but expected.

Your meal is served in courses. With the breakfast pastry, and fruit coming first, then the main dish and sides settled on the table for you to work through at your leisure.

Does the Garden Grill Restaurant rotate?

Yes! The Garden Grill Restaurant rotates, very very slowly, allowing you different views throughout the meal. While the movement is not noticeable while you’re dining, if you look up, you’ll notice different scenery. With views into the treetops of the ride, and the hot air balloons that hang in The Land building, parts of the “scenery” are just walls. However, since your real experience at this restaurant is all about the characters, you may not notice the views anyway!

Garden Grill Disney Cost

One of our favorite things about planning Disney character meals for breakfast, is that it’s always cheaper than dinner. Comparable to the Crystal Palace Breakfast, the Breakfast at Garden Grill costs $49 per adult and $33 per child. Both lunch and dinner here is $62 and $42, which is in line with most Disney Character Dining at Disney World.

Garden Grill Disney Restaurant Review

In terms of character restaurants at Disney World, the Garden Grill Breakfast offers a unique experience you can’t get anywhere else. Seeing Mickey Mouse in his farmer outfit with Pluto, Chip and Dale, you can count on a fun breakfast with photo ops. A similar Disney character restaurant offering an all you care to enjoy, family style breakfast is the Best Friends Breakfast at ‘Ohana.

While breakfast at Disney World is sometimes rushed in the hurry to do all the things in the parks, the Garden Grill Character Breakfast offers you a chance for a meal at a sit-down restaurant at EPCOT. Why not take the time to meet some characters, have some waffles and ease into the day? With classic breakfast foods, a delicious breakfast bread and healthy ingredients, you’ll feel great about taking the time to eat at Garden Grill, before heading into the park. Hopefully this post has given you an idea of what to expect on your next visit to Garden Grill.
