What is a Quick Service Restaurant at Walt Disney World?
Quick Service restaurants at Walt Disney World are a little like fast food restaurants. They’re generally pretty quick and usually reasonably priced, being a great option for those on a budget. Or those who don’t want to spend the time at a sit-down meal. Food tends to be lower quality than table service meals, and they often don’t have a ton of seating. But they are a great alternative to the more expensive options. And animal kingdom quick service options are perfect for a busier day.
Animal Kingdom has some of our favorite quick-service restaurants at Walt Disney World. They also have some that are, well not that good. Read on for the best quick-service restaurants at Animal Kingdom, as voted by our friends on Instagram!

Satu’li Canteen | Pandora
Satu’li Canteen is one of our absolute favorite restaurants at Animal Kingdom. We’d go so far as to say that it may be the best quick-service restaurant at Walt Disney World. Located in Pandora, this restaurant serves up healthier options that are filling and delicious. And we love the unique presentation of their desserts. They have indoor and outdoor seating. By far one of the best Animal Kingdom quick service restaurants. And we’ve never struggled to find a place to sit. The food tastes fresh and high quality. And if “healthy” doesn’t sound appealing, don’t worry, they also have Cheeseburger pods that are steamed in Bao Buns. See the Satu’li Canteen Menu for all the options.

Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes | Asia
Yak and Yeti is a table service restaurant that has a quick service counter at Animal Kingdom. With a similar menu to the table service version, this quick service spot at Animal Kingdom tends to be pretty popular. Yak and Yeti also serves breakfast, which is rare for quick service in Animal Kingdom, and great if you want something a little more filling than Starbucks. With dishes like Teriyaki, vegetarian Tikki Masala, and Korean chicken, it’s not shocking that the lines can get quite long here. As such, always mobile order if you can. And if you’re traveling on a budget or have a small appetite, you can grab a side of egg rolls or fried rice. Seating is outside, but mostly shaded, and the perfect place to take a break. Take a look at the Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes Menu.

Flame Tree Barbeque | Oasis
Flame Tree Barbeque has a menu that mostly consists of barbeque pork and chicken with a few sides. But for people who like BBQ and onion rings it’s often a favorite. They also have one plant-based option on their menu for those needing vegetarian and vegan options. Seating is all outdoors, but there is plenty of it, mostly in the shade. And since it’s next to the performance stage, you can usually count on live music and dance parties too! They also serve a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, along with fun non-alcoholic specialty drinks as well. Check out the Flame Tree Barbeque Menu.

Eight Spoon Cafe | Asia
Although technically a snack location, we think Eight Spoon Cafe could potentially count as Quick Service, especially if you have a smaller appetite. It actually has some of the best Savory Snacks at Disney World. The menu is small and consists mostly of mac and cheese and pulled pork items. Their pulled pork jelly doughnut sandwich is a slider size but add in a side of their mac and cheese and you have a budget meal. A carb-heavy one, but hey we aren’t here to judge. They aren’t always open and there’s no seating because it’s just a stand, but if you love mac and cheese, it’s a great place to try with usually just a small wait. See the Eight Spoon Cafe Menu for current options.

Harambe Market | Africa
Harambe Market is situated as an open-air plaza, with a variety of counters for Quick Service. You can grab everything from the Flamingo Slushy Drink to signature African rice bowls. They even have fries, and vegetarian Kofta Pitas here. And of course if you just want a Caesar salad they have that too. Perfect for a great meal under $15. And the large, mostly shaded seating area is a nice plus! Check out the Harambe Market Menu.
